Summer project 2021

Over the summer I made a 40L ultralight backpacking pack using a basic pattern I bought online. However, it was lacking quick access storage and needed refinement. After redesigning the water bottle pockets, padding, internal pockets, and straps, I went to work on a chest pack. I needed a place to store my phone, first aid kit, headlamp, knife, and plenty of snacks.
