I wanted to create a frame bag for my gravel bike that allowed me to carry more gear on long rides. This bag needed to be out of the way, fit within the frame of the bike and provide a lot of storage.
I started by taping the outline of the space that I wanted my bag to fill. I had to leave enough room to still access my water bottles. Once I removed the tape, I placed it onto butcher paper and created a pattern from that. I went on to create a basic muslin prototype to check fit and shape. After I was happy with the result I began creating the final bag.
